DEATH PENALTY: Top Israeli Offers Solution on Handling Overcrowded Prisons Packed With Palestinians
Ben Gvir praised the construction of 936 new prison cells, which he said would be a partial solution to the crisis
Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel's extremist national security minister, took to social media last week to address his country’s ongoing issue with overcrowded jails packed with Palestinian “security prisoners” ever since the Hamas attack on 7 October.

Ben Gvir praised the construction of 936 new prison cells, which he said would be a partial solution to the crisis. He said “the death penalty for terrorists is the right solution to the incarceration problem,” according to Middle East Eye.
The report noted that last Wednesday was Palestinian Prisoners’ Day and to mark the grim day, the Gaza media Office announced that over 5,000 Palestinians have been arrested by IDF troops since the war broke out – including thousands from the West Bank.
Addameer, a Palestinian rights group, told the outlet that Israel has been holding about 9,500 Palestinian political prisoners – and that number does not include those taken from Gaza.
The New Arab, citing Israel’s Public Defender’s Office, reported that some of the country's prisons “had been placed under a state of emergency due to severe overcrowding.”
TRENDPOST: Don’t expect to read about Ben-Gvir’s novel approach on how to deal with Palestinian inmates in the mainstream news media because it provides a glimpse into the government that the U.S. is funding.
Ben-Gvir represents the fringe that has become mainstream in Israel since the beginning of the year. NPR noted that 15 years ago, he was convicted in Israeli court for inciting racism and supporting an anti-Arab movement that Israel has outlawed as a terrorist organization.
As we have long noted, Netanyahu relies on these extremist Israelis in the Knesset to remain in charge. He faces criminal charges if his government is dissolved, so he cannot let that happen.
Norman Finkelstein, the Middle East scholar, said in a recent interview that Israel was acting like it could be a “lunatic state” as it promotes war with Iran and continues to carry out its genocide in Gaza.
“I do believe that we are at one of those moments where Israel is hurling towards the precipice and is determined, one way or the other, to drag the rest of humanity with it,” he told Glenn Greenwald’s podcast “System Update.” “The only part of departure, in my opinion, that's rational, is to start with the theorem, not the thesis…the theorem that Israel is a lunatic state. And I don't say that in a glib way. I don't say that in an emotive way. I think one can say it in, for want of a better word, a scientific way. The state is certifiably crazy.”
I heard an interesting interview with Rabbi Beck yesterday. He pointed out the toxic anti-judaic component of zionism is it's irrational (I would say psychotic) institutionalized fear/hatred of Arabs. This is what fuels both the slow and rapid Palestinian Genocide.
What do you call a minority that wants to rule the majority?
It is called a Dictatorship.
A Dictatorship worse than the Nazis... and all in power are controlled by the hidden hand.
And all in power sing the Devils tune:
Israel Israel über alles
Über alles in der welt.
