EU Rewards Anti-Russian Kallas With Top Foreign Policy Job Because Peace is Banned
Kremlin says she is well-known for her rabid Russophobic statements

Kaja Kallas, the Estonian prime minister compared to Margaret Thatcher for her anti-Russian stance, will be rewarded for the vacuous bluster by being tapped to succeed Josep Borrell as the EU’s top diplomat.
Kallas fell short of her real goal: to become the head of NATO.
(Becoming head of NATO is hard to do from a country with a GDP of $37 billion. To put that number in perspective, New Jersey’s GDP in 2023 was $810.1 billion.)
Kallas has been pushing for a wider war with Russia since the Ukraine War broke out and has been a chief fear-monger. She warned earlier this year that NATO has three years to prepare for an all-out war with Russia, a claim that Moscow brushed aside.
“Weakness provokes aggressors, so weakness provokes Russia,” she said.
Last year, Kallas expressed concern that peace could break out in Ukraine if the West begins pushing Kyiv to make concessions with Russia. Kallas told the BBC that Russia's Vladimir Putin is "afraid" of a war with NATO.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin’s spokesman, said Kallas is “well known [in Russia] for her absolutely uncompromising and sometimes even rabid Russophobic statements,” according to RT, the Russian outlet.
The Trends Journal has noted that NATO’s smallest members—such as Estonia with a population smaller than Manhattan’s—are the toughest talkers against Russia and have been working to instigate larger countries like Germany and France to take decisive action against Moscow.
Russia has said it does not see Ukraine as its real enemy.
Russia sees the West’s effort to militarize Ukraine as a direct threat to Moscow and an example of the U.S. grasping its hegemony around the world. Putin decided that Russia is no longer willing to live in a unipolar world dictated by Washington.
TRENDPOST: We’re glad to see Kallas seemed to survive the scandal surrounding her husband continuing to do business in Russia, which bruised her pristine veneer—talking about standing up to Putin seems to make scandals vanish in the West.
Kyiv would have been forced to negotiate with Moscow if not for the scores of billions in weapons and financing from the West, but instead, these politicians continue making claims that they will reclaim every inch of land in the claws of Russia. Satellite countries like Lithuania and Latvia, who benefit from NATO’s Article 5, don’t even mention peace.
This woman has done absolutely nothing noteworthy. The only reason she has anyone's attention is because she is in the front rank of Western "leaders" with respect to blustering about "bringing Russia to its knees." However, given that she is known precisely for this and nothing more, her selection for this post is a clear indicator of the thinking coming from the rest of the "leadership" crowd in the West.
Where do they find these people?
Warning, Warning, Bullshit. lol. Love ya, Gerald.
