Hamas Blames Blinken Over His Effort to Defend Israel in Ceasefire Talks, Wants Permanent End to War
Blinken’s effort to “exonerate the (Israeli) Occupation and hold us responsible for obstructing a ceasefire are part of his country’s complicity in the war of annihilation,” group says
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who has been called the Israeli foreign minister by Hamas, continues to try to present Hamas as the party that wants the war to continue when the fact is that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government reject any mention of a permanent ceasefire.
“Israel continued to reject any permanent ceasefire, in a clear contradiction with the UN Security Council resolution and Biden’s initiative,” Hamas said in a statement, according to Middle East Monitor.
