Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir was forced to apologize on Tuesday after his son implied that U.S. President Joe Biden is suffering from dementia from Alzheimer’s disease.

Shuvael Ben Gvir posted a photo of the frail president on X and said:
”In these difficult times it is important to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s, a degenerative brain disease that is the most common cause of cognitive decline and dementia. A serious disease that affects a person’s functions and ability.”

NEW ISSUE OUT TODAY

Ben-Gvir, the convicted racist who warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he would break apart the extremist government if he slowed the bombing campaign in Gaza and expressed dismay that Israel would allow even a trickle of humanitarian aid into the enclave, apologized on behalf of his son and said the post was a mistake.

“The United States of America is our great friend and President Biden is a friend of Israel. Even if I have a disagreement with his conduct, there is no room, God forbid, for a disparaging style. I apologize for my son’s words,” he posted.
