Biden Sends Another $450 Million in Security Aid to Ukraine, $6.1 Billion in Total
More High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems will be part of package
The U.S. announced Thursday that it will send Ukraine another $450 million in security aid to continue its fight against Russia, which brings the total military aid since the war began to $6.1 billion.
Col. Anton Semelroth, a Pentagon spokesman, said the new aid will included four HIMARS, or High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, the Associated Press reported. The number will double the number that the Ukrainians currently have from the U.S. These systems are capable of capable of firing guided rockets at targets up to 40 miles away.
Besides the HIMARS, the package will also include 18 tactical vehicles used to tow howitzers, 18 patrol boats, thousands of machine guns, grenade launchers, and rounds of ammunition, the report said.
John Kirby, the Pentagon spokesman, told reporters that the new funding is “part of our effort to help Ukraine defend its democracy in the face of unprovoked Russian aggression.”

President Joe Biden announced last week that the U.S. would send another $1 billion in military aid for Ukraine that will pay for heavy weapons, including advanced rockets, new rounds for howitzers, and anti-ship systems.
The U.S. also provided Ukraine with $40 billion in new funding to support the economic crisis.
Gen. Mark Milley, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said last week that most of the recent fighting has been in the Donbas.
Milley said about three-quarters of Severodonetsk, a city in the Donbas region, were in Russian control, "but the Ukrainians are fighting them street-by-street, house-by-house, and it's not a done deal."
While a Russian win in the Donbas is not “an inevitability,” Milley noted that “the numbers clearly favor the Russians. In terms of artillery, in terms of the numbers, they outgun and outrange.”
Milley said Ukraine’s estimate that is losing about 100 troops a day seems about right, and he said Russians have lost about 30 percent of their armed forces due to the conflict.
“For Ukraine, this is an existential threat. They're fighting for the very life of their country. So, your ability to endure suffering, your ability to endure casualties is directly proportional to the object to be obtained,” Milley said.
A transfer from VISA of 600 billion for an international tax transfer through IRS can fund UNODOC offices in each town abd city to counter corrupt pharmaceuticals and hire fast food workers to former Walmarts bought with the money as a U.N Food Program that is The U.N world food program .also airlines can be purchased and double as U.N Food Program transports abd protect passengers through U.N Charter. I wished to do this 2 years ago after reading about traveling restrictions. I thought if could arrange an international tax transfer via VISA to English airlines and U.S ones would fix that, still coild leave one billion to rich abd be enough. Tge idea is fo take a VISA card to IRS abd have it deduct tge amount send fo open tge offices abd buy Walmart the entire chain an Burgher King then put the good food you advocate jnt it. You did say the bugs are getting bigger. A total of 3.2 trillion in combined assets exists so leave a billion and still have enough to do it.
