Biden Tells Zelensky U.S. Will Provide Another $625M Weapons Package, Here's What's in it
Any talk about peace in the West is now considered an act of war
President Joe Biden held a phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday and told the Ukrainian leader that the U.S. will never recognize Russia’s newly annexed land and also announced another $625 million weapons package, representing the 22nd round of presidential drawdown authority.
Zelensky took to Telegram to say he spoke with Biden about additional sanctions against Russia and the situation on the battlefield. He also said they spoke about the need to preserve “the export of agricultural products by sea. We coordinated efforts before joint international events.”

The Western media has depicted the war effort as though Ukrainian fighters are routing Russian forces and retaking new land by the day. Zelensky has said he will not stop fighting until Moscow relinquishes every inch of Ukrainian land. Russian President Vladimir Putin said he is willing to negotiate with Kyiv, but the four regions that have been annexed are off the table.
Sergei Shoigu, Russia’s defense minister, announced Tuesday that over 200,000 people have enlisted into Russia's armed forces since Putin announced the partial mobilization last month.
Reuters reported that Shoigu said these units were receiving instruction at 80 training ranges and six training centers.
The Moscow Times noted that at least six men died since being called up during the partial mobilization.
“One of the mobilized men died from a heart attack and another committed suicide. The third one was discharged and sent home, where he died from cirrhosis of the liver,” Maxim Ivanov, a federal lawmaker, told a local news outlet.
TRENDPOST: The White House has refused to acknowledge its own failed diplomacy that Ukrainians are now paying for. Russia told the U.S. and NATO clearly that it wants NATO to stop expanding and does not want Ukraine to join the alliance.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said no deal on both fronts. Moscow called those two issues its red line and decided to act. Putin has nothing to lose and will never let Ukraine or its comedian president embarrass him on the world’s stage. The U.S. has to figure out how to de-escalate the situation. It was Sun Tzu who wrote, “Build your opponent a golden bridge to retreat across.”
