Bombing Yemen is 'Next Best Thing to Bombing Iran': Iranian Professor Says

Seyed Marandi, the top Iranian professor, told George Galloway’s “MOATS” on Wednesday that the U.S. is bombing Yemen because it’s the “next best thing to bombing Iran” because the Pentagon knows Iran could destroy the global economy.

“So they bomb Yemen instead,” he said. “They murder Yemeni women and children in the hope that they can intimidate Iran” and in the hope that the “Zionist lobby” will be satisfied with U.S. President Donald Trump “standing shoulder-to-shoulder with [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu in the slaughter of the people in Gaza and the slaughter of the women and children in Yemen.”
