Brazil's Lula Likens Israel's U.S.-Backed Genocide in Gaza to the Holocaust
The Biden administration continues to offer Israel its full support, despite bullshit public criticism of savagery.
Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on Sunday compared Israel’s actions in Gaza to Germany’s atrocities committed during the Holocaust.
"What is happening in the Gaza Strip with the Palestinian people has no parallel in other historical moments. In fact, it did exist when Hitler decided to kill the Jews,” he said, according to the BBC. “It's not a war of soldiers against soldiers. It's a war between a highly prepared army and women and children."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Brazil’s president’s remarks offensive and said they “crossed a red line.”
Israel Katz, Israeli foreign minister, said he will summon Brazil’s ambassador over the remarks.

“No one will compromise Israel’s right to defend itself,” he said, according to Al Jazeera.
