'Bully' NATO Would Lose to Russia, China: Ex-CIA Analyst
Says Ukraine War is ultimately about the West's desire for Russian resources
A former CIA analyst said in an interview Wednesday said NATO would lose in a war against Russia and China, despite its recent bluster and warmongering.
“NATO is like this bully that is hurling insults,” Larry Johnson, the former analyst, told “Dialogue Works.” “And yet, if push comes to shove, and NATO had to actually fight Russia and China, NATO would lose. That simple.”
He continued, “War is not the only option and yet that's the only damn answer that NATO keeps coming up with. ‘Let's see how many locals… how many Afghans we can kill, how many Iraqis we can kill, how many Syrians we can kill, good Lord, look at all the Ukrainians we’re killing now.”

He said the West covets Russia's natural resources, which is what the war is actually about.

“This isn’t about Fighting for freedom or democracy or any of that nonsense. This is about cold hard cash. Who controls the resources, and by God, you cannot have Russia out there acting independently… not under our thumb because that's a competitor and the West grossly miscalculated when they decided to punish Putin” with sanctions.
TRENDPOST: The Trends Journal has reported extensively on Ukraine’s lost war to Russia and the only way for Kyiv to show any sign of military viability is to strike soft targets in Russia. The strikes make for good headlines in the U.S., but don’t make a damn difference on the battlefield.
