Can Musk's America Party challenge the uniparty crime syndicate in the U.S.?
Americans are ready for a change
Elon Musk is known to launch rockets into orbit, but can he go boldly where no man has gone before and create a third party in the U.S. to challenge the corrupt, warmongering uniparty establishment in Washington?
With his X platform and a net worth of about $424 billion, Musk has the tools to shake things up. He’s been deliberately vague on policy specifics but promises to restore “freedom” to Americans.
He has already aimed at President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill.”
Musk says the plan is to target just a few key Senate and House races, indicating that he’d like to weaken the Republican stronghold and fracture the uniparty system, drawing inspiration from ancient military tactics.
CELENTE: TRUMP’S ALL ABOUT THE BOTTOM LINE
Is this a genuine political movement or just another headline-grabbing stunt? Skepticism is warranted – but if he brings in voices like Rand Paul, Thomas Massie or Judge Andrew Napolitano to form the party’s political philosophy that does put "WE THE PEOPLE" first, it could be a game-changer.
Trump seemed to brush aside Musk’s decision to launch the party, saying the world’s richest man could have “fun with it,” but called the idea “ridiculous.”
Musk announced Saturday that he would bankroll a new political party called the America Party. He said it will be created to “give you back your freedom.”
Musk was, for a brief time, a frequent presence next to Trump and led the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which was focused on cutting government waste. As of 29 June, DOGE’s website said it saved taxpayers $160 billion in wasteful spending.
Musk left DOGE in May, just as his 130-day Special Government Employee time limit was coming to an end. It was about this time that Musk broke with Trump over his One Big Beautiful Bill that Musk blasted as wasteful and would increase the federal budget deficit by nearly $4 trillion in 10 years.
Musk ran a poll on Independence Day to ask his followers if they would like “independence from the two-party (some would say uniparty) system!”
There were over 1.2 million votes and “Yes” carried 65.4 percent of the votes, and “No” came in with 34.6 percent.
Musk posted: “One way to execute on this would be to laser-focus on just 2 or 3 Senate seats and 8 to 10 House districts. Given the razor-thin legislative margins, that would be enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring that they serve the true will of the people.”
Trump posted on his Truth Social that he was “saddened” to watch Musk go “completely off the rails” and “essentially becoming a TRAIN WRECK over the past five weeks.”
“The one thing Third Parties are good for is the creation of Complete and Total DISRUPTION & CHAOS, and we have enough of that with the Radical Left Democrats, who have lost their confidence and their minds! Republicans, on the other hand, are a smooth running “machine,” that just passed the biggest Bill of its kind in the History of our Country. It is a Great Bill but, unfortunately for Elon, it eliminates the ridiculous Electric Vehicle (EV) Mandate, which would have forced everyone to buy an Electric Car in a short period of time,” Trump posted.
Scott Bessent, the Treasury secretary who reportedly did not get along with Musk, told CNN Sunday: “I imagine that those board of directors did not like this announcement yesterday and will be encouraging him to focus on his business activities, not his political activities.”
TREND FORECAST: Can Musk be the person who can bring an actual America-First political party to the mainstream in the U.S.? That is yet to be determined, and judging by his posts, this party will continue the Washington tradition of 100 percent support for Israel’s wars. Trump mentioned in a post Sunday that Musk may have been annoyed that his friend billionaire Jared Isaacman was not selected to head NASA.
Trump indicated that such a selection would have been too incestuous, given that Musk is also the head of SpaceX.
At around the time of the 2024 presidential election in the U.S., a poll found that 43 percent of American adults say they identify as independent voters—a number not seen since 2014, outnumbering the number of those who identified as Democrats at the polls in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
