Zelensky said Ukraine would not recognize any deals made without its participation
Ukrainian President Vlodomyr Zelensky threw a hissy fit when he found out that the U.S. and Russia’s meeting in Saudi Arabia was a big success, and announced that he would postpone his upcoming trip to Riyadh later in the week.

“Ukraine and Europe—meaning the European Union, Turkey, and Britain—must be included in the talks and the development of necessary security guarantees that affect the fate of our part of the world, together with America,” he said, according to Newsweek.
The meeting in Riyadh between U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov ended with both countries striking an optimistic tone about ending the three-year-old war and normalizing relations.
Rubio said there will “be engagement and consultation with Ukraine, with our partners in Europe and others, but ultimately, the Russian side will be indispensable to this effort,” according to The New York Times.
