Benny Gantz, a former member of Israel’s war cabinet and a top competitor for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, called on the IDF to attack Iran instead of going after the Houthis in Yemen.

Gantz addressed a meeting of his National Unity party on Monday and said the solution for ending Houthi missile attacks on Israel is knocking out Iran.

“We today have the opportunity to catalyze a ‘strategic flip’ against Iran and its proxies. We must capitalize on the opportunity. It would be a strategic mistake of historic proportions not to,” he said, according to Israel National News.

Israel’s extremist Knesset wanted a Donald Trump presidency because he was seen as even more reliable than the Democrats, who have been unflinching in their support of the genocide in Gaza.

U.S. Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla, Trump’s pick for national security adviser, said if Iran gets a nuke, it will create a nuclear arms race in the region, which should scare all Americans.
