Elon Musk Phone? That Could Happen

Tech billionaire raises possibility of creating his own smartphone if Google and Apple delete Twitter from app stores

Concept Phones reported in March that Tesla seems serious about getting into the smartphone business.

Elon Musk, the head of Twitter who has already created products that challenge entrenched companies in other sectors, raised the possibility of creating his own smartphone if Apple and Google delete his social media site from their platforms.

Musk responded to a Twitter post that called on him to make his own phone.

“If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, @elonmusk should produce his own smartphone. Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?” the post read.

Musk responded, “I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone."

9 To 5 Mac reported “A “Tesla Pi Phone” has long been a vague, unsubstantiated rumor, but it seems Musk’s acquisition of Twitter may be the thing to finally push the founder over the edge and lead him to create a mobile device. It isn’t that far fetched. Tesla has its own chip technology, software stack with games and apps and over a million clients running a tablet Linux OS with a very modern UI.”

Glenn Greenwald, the journalist, tweeted that Parler, another social media app, became the single most-downloaded app in the U.S. after former President Donald Trump was banned on Twitter. Anti-speech reps like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “demanded Google and Apple remove it from their stores. They wisely obeyed and Parler was destroyed. They’re trying to repeat this abuse of monopoly power to do this to Twitter,” he posted.

He continued, “When Musk announced his intent to buy Twitter, many warned that every government and corporate weapon would be used to destroy him if he attempted any restoration of free speech. Online censorship is the most valuable tool of Dems, media corporations and the US Security State.”

‘GEOPOLITICAL CHAOS AGENT’

Musk, the Tesla billionaire, has been targeted by corporate media Presstitutes for committing the mortal sin of thinking for himself and questioning the accepted narrative. 

The New York Times, in an unflattering report on Musk, called him a “geopolitical chaos agent” because he laid out a peace plan for Ukraine and suggested that tensions between Washington and Beijing can be resolved if China takes partial control. 

The paper noted that it is not uncommon for billionaires to use social media to offer their opinions about certain topics, but Musk is different and none “can come close to Mr. Musk’s influence and ability to cause trouble.”

Loose Cannon

The media embraces people it can control. 

Musk took to Twitter to lay out what seemed like sensible steps to achieve peace. He said the referendums in the newly annexed regions could be done over, with UN supervision. Russia would leave if it is the will of the people. He noted that Crimea would be formally recognized as part of Russia, “as it has been since 1783 (until Khushchev’s mistake).”

Musk echoed what The Trends Journal has been saying since the beginning of the war: that Ukraine will likely end up with the same outcome, it is just a matter of how many people have to die before an agreement is reached.
