FAIR Takes Aim at Media Coverage of Seymour Hersh's Nord Stream Blockbuster
The media watchdog headlined its article: "Major U.S. Outlets Found Hersh’s Nord Stream Scoop Too Hot to Handle"

FAIR, the media watchdog group, ran an extensive article last week that looked into Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh’s explosive report into the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines and the response from top news outlets in the U.S.
Hersh has noted that The Washington Post and New York Times, his past employer, ignored the report outright. He has been critical about the state of the news media in the country, especially when it comes to the Ukraine War.
“The way I look at it, you know, the White House, despite all the criticism of [President Joe] Biden…they have The New York Times, The Washington Post, MSN, and CNN fronting for them,” Hersh said. “It’s amazing to be how they fall in line, my colleagues.”
FAIR’s article seemed to support Hersh’s claim. The watchdog group noted that there was “not a word broadcast by the major US broadcast networks—NBC, ABC, CBS—or the publicly funded broadcasters PBS and NPR. No news stories on the nation’s major cable outlets, CNN, MSNBC and Fox News.”
The article by David Knox went on to note that there was some skepticism because Hersh hung key details in his story on an unnamed source. But he concluded that “by every journalistic standard, the extensive international coverage given the story, as well as the adamant White House and Pentagon denials, should have made it big news in the United States.”
“What’s not in doubt is the remarkable breadth of the news blackout surrounding Hersh’s story. The only major US newspaper to cover it as breaking news was the New York Post (2/8/23),” he wrote.
Vassily Nebenzia, Russia’s ambassador to the UN, said he wants a complete investigation into the bombing of the Nord Stream pipelines after the publication of Hersh’s article pinning blame squarely on the Biden administration and after comments from State Department officials like Victoria Nuland who publicly celebrated the attack.
Nebenzia referred to Victoria “Fuck the EU” Nuland as the “godmother of the anti-constitutional coup in Ukraine.” (We go into great detail about her history here.)
Nebenzia told the UN Security Council that European countries cannot be trusted to carry out a fair investigation and he wants the UN to probe the attack. He said if the perpetrators are not found and brought to justice, it could become open season on undersea infrastructure for military strikes, RT, the Russian news outlet, reported.
The most recent information into the investigation was reported by the Geopolitical Monitor that said in its summary that it is generally assumed that a state actor was the perpetrator.
Was the Washington Post purchased by the CIA using Jeff Bezos (Amazon) as a straw buyer? The CIA gave Bezos $600,000,000 and he used $250,000,000 to purchase the Washington Post. Now most of the lies and leaks from “unnamed sources” come from the Washington Post. The CIA Operation Mockingbird was designed to influence the news. What is the name of the operation when they decide to OWN the news? Does the CIA own (through a straw buyer) the Washington (CIA) Post? Have an investigation. Connect the dots. You will find an out of control CIA, the one President Kennedy wanted to smash into 1,000 pieces.
