FBI Must Probe U.S. Protests Calling for End to Israel Genocide in Gaza for Putin Link: Pelosi

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, R-Calif, the pro-Israeli genocide former House speaker, called on the FBI to investigate protests in the U.S. that called for a ceasefire in Gaza, citing possible ties to the Kremlin for their pro-peace message.

NEW TRENDS JOURNAL OUT TUESDAY

“For them to call for a ceasefire is Mr. Putin’s message,” Pelosi said in a bizarre interview with CNN, according to The Times of Israel. “Make no mistake, this is directly connected to what [Russian President Vladimir Putin] would like to see. “I think some of these protesters are spontaneous, and organic, and sincere. Some I think are connected to Russia. Some financing should be investigated and I want to ask the FBI to investigate that.”

Pelosi represents how the political party in the U.S. does not matter when it comes to loyalty to Israel in Congress, even as the country collectively punishes 2.2 million Gazans over the 7 October Hamas attack.

Current U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, whose nomination was called by Haaretz “the most significant victory to date for evangelical Christians’ pro-Israel movement,” has a militant loyalty to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He told a pro-Israel rally in Washington in November that calls for a ceasefire were “outrageous.”

“I agree with our friend, Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu who said this is a battle between good versus evil, between light versus darkness, between civilization and barbarism. And we want to make absolutely clear where America stands in that fight, and we’ll continue to do that.”
