'FUCK THE EU' NULAND SMIRKS IN UKRAINE: We've Got a Surprise for Putin

Foreign Policy wrote in 2015 that Nuland is so popular in Washington because 'many Europeans, and certainly Moscow' hate her.

Video emerged on Wednesday showing Victoria “Fuck the EU” Nuland addressing reporters in Ukraine and expressing a general feeling of optimism, saying she’s got another surprise for Russian President Vladimir Putin up her sleeve.

She was in Kyiv and said she was leaving the city even more encouraged about the country’s unity and resolve in them face of so much adversity, and smirked that even as Ukraine strengthens its defenses, “Mr. Putin is going to get some nice surprises.”

The Trends Journal reached out to the State Department for clarification about what Nuland meant but did not hear back.

Nuland, who was a major player in the U.S.-led coup in Ukraine back in 2014, was former Vice President Dick Cheney’s principal deputy national security advisor. We reported in July that Nuland got a promotion inside the State Department and is now the acting second-in-command.
