Yesterday Donald Trump was, again, inaugurated President of the United States. And as we have forecast with one our Top Trends for 2025, at this point in time, no one really knows how the Trump Card will be played.

On the economic and equity market side of life, during his campaign against Kamala Harris, as he did with Hillary Clinton when he ran against her in 2016, the proposal of “Tariffs” was a major Trump Card that he played to the American public and the world.
In fact, Donald Trump had said he will impose a new 25 percent tariff on all imports from Canada and Mexico and “an additional 10 percent tariff, above any additional tariffs” on imports from China on his first day in office.
