IDF 'Mowing the Lawn' in West Bank, Will Soon 'Pull Out Roots': Gallant
Israel is known to carry out military operations to cull the heard in Gaza every few years, which leaders there call "mowing the lawn"
Yoav “human animals” Gallant, the Israeli military head, warned of a major escalation in the West Bank and said the IDF has been “mowing the lawn” in the occupied territory, but will eventually start ripping out “the roots.”
“We are mowing the lawn, [but] the moment will also come when we will pull out the roots, that must be done,” the accused war criminal said, according to The Times of Israel.
(Mowing the lawn is a reference that Israeli officials use to describe conflicts in Gaza to kill off some percentage of the population and destroy infrastructure. Israel is known to “mow the lawn” every few years in Gaza while keeping the enclave on a near-starvation diet even in the best of times. Israel, as the occupying power in Gaza, has an obligation to make sure that the population has access to food under the Fourth Geneva Convention.)
