Israel Introduces World to a New From of Terror: Former UN Official
Calls attack a “grave breach” of international law and a gross violation of Human Rights law
The Israeli government introduced the world to a new form of terror attacks after it exploded pagers across Lebanon in violation of international humanitarian law, according to Craig Mokhiber, a former UN lawyer.
Thousands of pagers exploded in Lebanon, killing at least 12, including at least two children and two health workers, according to Human Rights Watch. There were at least 2,8000 injuries.
The terror attack was embraced by the media establishment in the U.S.
The New York Post mocked those killed on its front page:
Mokhiber, a former senior Human Rights official at the UN, joined “The Katie Halper Show” podcast to discuss the attack and told her that the celebratory response by some in the West was “quite disturbing.”
“This was a massive terrorist attack on the Lebanese people, on the country of Lebanon,” he said.

“The first thing about an attack like this is that any place where this had happened, it would be a historic event because of the scope and nature of the attack. And the degree to which the Western media tries to sanitize this one…I think it is going to be very disturbing. I’m not sure they’ll get away with it,” he said.
“I think, secondly, is that this opens up a very dangerous new front on global terrorism…putting us all at risk. Once again, Israel has found a way to threaten the safety of all of us because this is another tactic of terrorism that won’t stop with Israel doing it to Lebanon in this case. Israel will likely do it in other places and others will mimic this approach as well…So, once again, Israel has made us all less safe,” he said.
He called the attack a “grave breach” of international law and a gross violation of Human Rights law.
Lama Fakih, the Middle East and North Africa director at Human Rights Watch, said international law “prohibits the use of booby traps – objects that civilians are likely to be attracted to or are associated with normal civilian daily use – precisely to avoid putting civilians at grave risk and produce the devastating scenes that continue to unfold across Lebanon.”
“The use of an explosive device whose exact location could not be reliably known would be unlawfully indiscriminate, using a means of attack that could not be directed at a specific military target and as a result would strike military targets and civilians without distinction,” she said.
how much more are we going to tolerate from Israel it has fallen into abject violence with no exist
Tragically, Israel will get away with this, as they are getting away with blatant genocide. Have they literally bought off or coerced every official on the planet; was Epstein that effective?
