Israel Sued by Rave Massacre Survivors Over Alleged Negligence
There are still questions about how much the Netanyahu government knew before the Hamas attack

Injured survivors of the Nova rave massacre have filed a lawsuit against Israel’s top security services over the Hamas attack — claiming that the raid could have largely been avoided if not for negligence.
“A single phone call by IDF officials to the commander responsible for the party to disperse it immediately in view of the expected danger would have saved lives and prevented the physical and mental injuries of hundreds of partygoers, including the plaintiffs. The negligence and the gross oversight is beyond belief,” the lawsuit read, according to The Times of Israel.
The lawsuit was signed by 42 plaintiffs who said they were physically and/or mentally injured. Their lawyers are Anat Ginzburg and Gilad Ginzburg.
The suit, which was filed on Monday, names the IDF, the Israel Police, and the Shin Bet.
“One phone call separated the plaintiffs' lives and the integrity of their bodies and souls from the destruction of their lives. All the defendants had to do was to make a phone call to the responsible parties so that they would disperse the party in view of the warnings which were received on the night between 6/10 - 7/10.”
The suit alleged:
Israel security forces knew about the risk of have such a large festival near the Gaza border.
Senior operations officer of the Gaza Division opposed the holding of the "Nova" party because it was an unnecessary security risk and even emphasized that the IDF would have difficulty securing the party throughout the weekend, because it was the Simchat Torah holiday and many soldiers went home. - Jerusalem Post
Top Israeli officials knew about the Hamas plan for a year before the 7 October attack and reportedly brushed it off as unrealistic, according to a report last month
The New York Times reported that these Israeli officials managed to obtain the battle plan for the attack that killed 1,200 Israelis and “dismissed the plan as aspirational,” given that it would be hard to carry out.

The document was called “Jericho Wall” and provided Israel with what the paper said was a “point by point” outline of how the attack would unfold.
U.S. officials told Politico that there was no indication that Israel shared the information with the U.S. before the attack. The officials told The Times that if Israel responded to the threat, the attack could have been prevented.
“There are no indicators at this time that the IC [intelligence community] was provided the purported ‘Jericho Wall’ document reported last night by The New York Times,” one U.S. official, told Politico. “The IC will certainly continue to review its information.”
One source told Politico that it was “very problematic” that Israel did not share the information.
The NYT report said Hamas followed the blueprint obtained by Israel with “shocking precision.”
The report said the attack called for drones to knock out security cameras and the automated machine guns that line the Gaza-Israel border. The Times report said it was not clear if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knew about the attack.
The 40-page report said Hamas planned a raid that was “unprecedented in its scope.”
TRENDPOST: Scott Ritter, the former UN weapons inspector, said in an interview last week that a unit in Israel’s intelligence is made up primarily of women who are tasked with monitoring cameras inside command posts to make sure there are no unusual movements on the border.
“These women have been reporting for some time that Hamas was doing rehearsals for this attack,” he said. “They identified these units, the special forces units for Hamas.”
He said they wrote reports that this attack was looming and tried to go up the chain of command in Israel. The Times’s report said the Israeli intelligence agency was warned that Hamas “conducted an intense daylong training exercise that appeared similar to what was outlined in the blueprint.”
“Many of these girls took heavy casualties,” he said, when referring to the invasion. He noted that they did not have personal weapons. “When Hamas came across, and stormed their command centers, these girls didn’t have any defense.”
He continued, “A majority of them were killed, and some of them were captured.”
Ritter said the “men” in charge got the reports from the “women” and Israel is a sexist country, and the men said, “Ah, they’re overreacting.”
“This is criminal,” he said. “This is Netanyahu.”
Indeed, The Times report said one colonel in the Gaza division rejected the warnings. A female analyst said the training “matched the content of Jericho Wall.”
He said Israeli forces got beat to a standstill because they were thinly manned and they ended up calling for air support.
“The guys on the frontline were screaming, ‘It’s happening, it’s happening.”
“Nobody did anything,” he said.
When Israeli forces arrived to provide support, they were in panic.
“What Hamas did is achieve absolute tactical dominance of the battlefield. They came across, they penetrated the lines, they knew exactly where they were going.”
Hamas took out Israeli communication lines.
“They [Israeli forces] were absolutely panicked, so when they got there, they just started shooting. A lot of the Israelis who were killed early on were shot by Israeli soldiers who misidentified them as Hamas,” he said.
“The notion that the IDF is invincible was shattered that day,” Ritter said.
As for Israel being unaware of the Hamas attack, this is Phil Giraldi just days after the Hamas attacl:
For what it’s worth I just posted this on Facebook together with a picture of Bibi and Biden head to head… Does anyone else remember the comments by Bibi?
Am I the only one who read about a speech given by Netanyahu or someone in his cabinet about a week ago in which he/they in passing referred to a “developing security situation” which rather suggests (to me) that they might have known about developments in Gaza and chose to let it happen so they can wipe Gaza off the map in retaliation and, possibly relying on the US pledge to have Israel’s “back,” then implicating Iran and attacking that country. I cannot find a link to it, but have a fairly strong recollection of what I read as I thought at the time it would serve as a pretext for another massacre of Palestinians.
As a former intelligence officer, I find it impossible to believe that Israel did not have multiple informants inside Gaza as well as electronic listening devices all along the border wall which would have picked up movements of groups and vehicles. In other words, the whole thing might be a tissue of lies as is often the case. And as is also ALWAYS the case Joe Biden is preparing to send some billions of dollars to poor little Israel to pay for “defending” itself.
Ben Bartee, a Bangkok-based American journalist, posted on his Substack page that questioned the Western narrative that the attack on Israel was some kind of a massive intelligence failure.
His argument was that Israel’s Mossad is one of the “most powerful intelligence agencies on the planet,” and its spies are scattered all over the Gaza Strip, which is “arguably the most heavily surveilled geographic areas on Earth.
“The Hamas invasion of Southern Israel yesterday was an operation involving tens of thousands of operatives, at least, across land, sea, and air, using all manner of equipment and weaponry—drones, thousands of rockets, countless firearms, and even bulldozers that were positioned to knock down Israeli fencing,” Bartee posted. “And MSNBC and CNN would have you believe this was all a big ‘intelligence failure’ by Mossad.”
He noted that Israel was divided over Netanyahu’s hardline government and judicial overhaul, which brought the country to the brink of civil war. He wrote that it is his belief that Mossad either knew the attack was looming or “actively facilitated the attack so Israelis “will rally around the flag for some patriotic Palestinian ass-kicking and their Prime Minister’s imminently obvious corruption will be, at least temporarily, forgotten, if not forgiven.”
One Israeli official told the BBC that the country’s investigation into the intelligence lapse could span for years.
The BBC said it is “frankly astounding that nobody saw this attack” coming.
“Or if they did, they failed to act on it,” the outlet said. “To prepare for and carry out such a coordinated, complex attack involving the stockpiling and firing of thousands of rockets, right under the noses of the Israelis, must have taken extraordinary levels of operational security by Hamas.”
I'm shocked that by now everyone does not suspect that Israel either knew and chose to allow it to happen, or even assisted in it, to create the premise and 'justification' for the genocide taking place right now. It's always the same usual players who are without loyalty to country or humanity.
What do we do with their latest divide and conquer op (gotta be the oldest play in that playbook) we pick sides just like they want us to.
Haven't we all had enough?
Thanks.
