Israeli Officials Admit That Hamas's Claim That Netanyahu Violated Ceasefire is True
The Trends Journal has reported for months that Trump has assembled the most pro-Israel Cabinet in recent memory – and that’s saying something in the U.S.
Hamas officials who blamed Israel for violating the ceasefire agreement — from continuing to kill civilians in Gaza and preventing humanitarian aid from reaching the encalve — are accurate in their assessment, three Israeli officials told The New York Times.
The paper reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hamas on Tuesday that the IDF will resume intense fighting in Gaza if the hostages are not returned by noon Saturday – just a day after U.S. President Donald Trump said “all hell is going to break loose in the enclave” if the Israelis are not returned.
“If Hamas does not return our hostages by Saturday noon, the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will return to intense fighting until Hamas is finally defeated,” Netanyahu said, according to The Times of Israel.
Netanyahu has long noted that the ceasefire deal is only temporary, and he has yet to send a delegation to discuss the second phase of the agreement, which includes pulling Israeli forces from the enclave.
A story published on Israel’s Ynet said Trump’s negotiating team made promises to Netanyahu that will allow the Israelis to restart the war whenever they want.
The news outlet, citing a source familiar with the deal, said Trump promised Netanyahu that if he agreed to the deal that calls for Hamas to release the remaining 100 or so hostages in return for a ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal, “he will support Israel retroactively if it decides to return to fighting and violate the ceasefire.”
Michael Milshtein, an Israeli analyst of Palestinian affairs, told The Times that there is anger within Hamas regarding the “demands of both Netanyahu and Trump that Hamas will be kicked out of Gaza.”
“The announcement yesterday was a kind of a signal that, if you continue demanding this, there will be several dramatic crises,” he said.
TRENDPOST: Trump and Netanyahu appear to be coordinated in their messaging, which spells disaster for Gazans. When Trump makes claims that “all hell” will break loose, one wonders what he coul possibly mean.
Does he want Israel to begin bombing rubble? Kills tens of thousands of Gazans in a day?
