Israel's National Security Minister Wants Preemptive War With Hezbollah
The Trends Journal has said the world is already at war, but it will not be official until there is a nuclear exchange
Itamar Ben-Gvir, the convicted racist Israeli national security minister, said in an interview that he wants Israel to launch a preemptive war against Lebanon’s Hezbollah because it is important for Israel to “be the first to attack, take charge, and lead this move.”

The Jewish Press reported that Ben-Gvir told a news panel: The left-wing media, which should be at least doubting the defense leadership because of its atrocious failures, are smacking the right for daring to criticize them.
Axios noted that Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich are “ultranationalist” with a long record of racist, Jewish supremacist and anti-Palestinian statements and actions.
Reports out of Israel suggest that there are new tensions between Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Times of Israel reported that Gallant stormed out of a war cabinet meeting on Saturday night over Netanyahu informing his defense head that the meeting would not include aides while he brought in five of his own.
“Stop getting in the way of my work,” Gallant reportedly told Netanyahu and others.
Meanwhile, Gallant told reporters on Monday that the “intensive phase” of Israel’s ground offensive in northern Gaza has ended, the paper reported.
“In the northern part of the Strip, this phase has ended. In southern Gaza, we will reach this achievement and [the intensive phase] will end soon,” he said.
Gallant said in an interview earlier this month that Israel is not fighting a single enemy, but rather an entire “axis” and “the world needs to understand this is different.”
“My basic view: We are fighting an axis, not a single enemy,” Gallant told The Wall Street Journal. “Iran is building up military power around Israel in order to use it.”
TRENDPOST: Gallant indicated last month that he is willing to go to war with Hezbollah to push its “forces” south of the Litani River to the north before Israeli residents on the already stolen land there move back into their homes, according to reports.
