Latest State Department Official Resigns Over U.S. Support of Gaza Genocide
As long as Washington allows these attacks, they will continue and there is no sign that the U.S. support for Israel will end
Stacy Gilbert, a “career State Department official,” resigned on Tuesday over the Biden administration’s ongoing support of Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Gilbert served as a senior civilian-military advisor to the State Department's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.
The Washington Post reported that Gilbert sent an email to coworkers slammed a recent report that determined that Israel is not obstructing U.S. humanitarian assistance to Gaza.
The paper noted that Josh Paul, a former State Department official, posted on LinkedIn that the White House’s decision not to consider Israel’s bombing on the encampment in Rafah that killed at least 45 in injured hundreds – mainly children – shows that there is no atrocity too damning that will result in a policy change.

“This is not just a story of bureaucratic complicity or ineptitude — there are people signing off on arms transfers, people drafting arms transfer approval memos, people turning a blind eye," he continued. People "who could be speaking up, people who have an awesome responsibility to do good, and a lifelong commitment to human rights — whose choice is to let the bureaucracy function as though it were business as usual,” he posted.

John Kirby, the National Security Council spokesman, told reporters at the White House on Tuesday that Israel had not violated Biden’s “red line” for withholding future offensive arms transfers, the Associated Press reported.
He called the loss of life “heartbreaking” and “horrific,” the report said.
TRENDPOST: The U.S. National Security Council remained a loyal dog to Israel on Monday and the best it could do is tell reporters that it was “gathering more information.”
As long as Washington allows these attacks, they will continue and there is no sign that the U.S. support for Israel will end.
Why? Because Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy—two of President Joe Biden’s challengers in 2024—are somehow even more pro-genocide than the current administration, which is driving U.S. policy from the background. Biden knows he needs to keep his Jewish donors happy or lose them to Trump. He understands that the young protesters have no one else to vote for.
It is worth noting that even before the bombing on the tent camp, and long after the bombing, AIPAC-controlled politicians in the U.S. continue to support Israel to the end.
Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., condemned the ICJ for ordering Israel not to invade Rafah, stating that the court is “blinded by anti-Israeli bias.”
“Biden must commit to vetoing any UN Security Council resolution that would enforce this outrageous decision,” he said.
Sen. Lindsey Graham said, “The ICJ can go to hell.”
He said these “so-called international justice organizations associated with the UN” are overwhelmed with anti-Israel bias.
