Gregory Mannarino, the Trends Journal columnist and full-time trader, warned of the dangers ahead for the U.S. economy during an interview with Gerald Celente, the magazine's publisher.

Readers of the Trends Journal are fully aware that the Federal Reserve incorrectly downplayed inflation risks for months --calling it "transitory"-- and just now are seeing the dangers. Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan, said the U.S. must prepare for an “economic hurricane,” due to the Fed’s monetary tightening.

Mannarino said the banking billionaire is a little late to the dance.
“The economy is in a freefall,” Mannarino said. “It’s going to get much, much worse.”
He also brushed aside economists who say inflation is at or near its peak.
“We haven't seen anything yet,” he said. “inflation is going to surge much higher, crude oil is going much, much higher, commodities in the aggregate are going much much higher… people are being meant to suffer, by design.”
