NATO's Stoltenberg Faces New Calls to Resign After Incendiary Comments
As Gerald Celente says, “When all else fails, they take you to war”
Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO head, should either retract his comments or resign from his post after calling on countries in the alliance to allow Ukraine to strike targets inside Russia with Western weapons, Italy’s deputy prime minister said.
NULAND: LET UKRAINE USE WESTERN WEAPONS TO STRIKE RUSSIA
“NATO cannot force us to kill in Russia, nor can anyone compel us to send Italian soldiers to fight or die in Ukraine,” Matteo Salvini, the head of the League, said, according to Euractiv. “If they want to go and fight in Ukraine, let Stoltenberg, (French President) Emmanuel Macron and all the bombers who want war go there.”
NATO is escalating the Ukraine War just as close associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin talk about the Kremlin’s willingness for a ceasefire at current battlefield lines.
Stoltenberg, the NATO head, gave an interview with The Economist and endorsed Kyiv using Western-provided weapons to strike targets inside Russia. He essentially echoed the theory stated by British Foreign Minister David Cameron who said if the attacks on Ukraine are coming from within Russia, it is only logical that Ukraine seeks out these targets.
Stoltenberg told the magazine that it is time that allies rethink whether or not they should give Ukraine the approval to use the weapons they provided to strike Russian targets because to “deny Ukraine the possibility of using these weapons against legitimate military targets on Russian territory makes it very hard for them to defend themselves.”
Russia has made it clear that the West is close to becoming directly involved in the conflict and the use of long-range missiles is seen as a serious escalation.
There is a clear divide in NATO about the use of these weapons.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said last week that he will not provide his feared Taurus missiles to Ukraine because his responsibility is to prevent a scenario “where it comes to an escalation of the war to a war between Russia and NATO.”
He told reporters last week that providing Ukraine with these missiles would only be “tenable” if Germany could “define the targets ourselves, and that is, again, not possible if you don’t want to be part of this conflict.”
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also said, “I don’t understand why Stoltenberg would say such a thing.”
“I agree that NATO must remain firm and show no signs of weakness. There have been many questionable statements, including from Macron. I advise greater caution,” she said, according to the report.
Macron had escalated tensions between Paris and Moscow when he said in February that he could not rule out putting French troops on the ground in Ukraine.
TRENDPOST: As Gerald Celente says, “When all else fails, they take you to war,” with a 71 percent disapproval rating, in the eyes of the French people, Macron is a lame-duck failure, thus he keeps ramping up war.
Herr Stoltenberg is itching below the belt to go to war with Russia but he can't keep it in his pants! So to cure that itch he intends to drag the West down a path of nuclear annihilation. Like Crazy Eddie used to say, it's "INSANE".
Soldier Boy Stoltenboyg issued nuclear first-strike threats against Moscow back in December of 2021 -- two months before Russia went into Ukraine and their SMO commenced. Ironically, between all the rhetoric and their not-so-covert efforts (since Day One) in Ukraine, OTAN has now placed itself in an 'existential' struggle of its own.
Their (NATO's) continued desperate flailing and abysmal results in Ukraine would suggest that -- win or lose -- NATO is in their final battle.
After this is over, there's no way the EU continues to trust the security of Europe to such buffoonish, ill-prepared military forces. I'm still trying to figure why EU "leaders" were so callous as to support Ukrainian Nazis, in the first place. They pretend as if there's some compelling moral imperative in Ukraine, but no one is buying their weak, unconvincing act.
