NEW ISSUE ALERT: Do Religions Have Lockjaw? Where Are the Preachers for Peace?
The religion of Washington is war.
Welcome to this week’s Trends Journal: "DO RELIGIONS HAVE LOCKJAW? WHERE ARE THE PREACHERS FOR PEACE?"
Despite the death and destruction since the onset of the Ukraine War, we have yet to hear a rallying cry from those we'd expect most ‒ religious leaders.
This week's issue tackles this silence head-on, inquiring where are the preachers of peace as fears of nuclear annihilation escalate? At this critical juncture it is essential for religions to demonstrate their significance.
Preaching peace isn't without its hazards.
NAPOLITANO: REVOLUTIONARY WAR WAS THE ONLY JUST, MORAL WAR THE U.S. EVER FOUGHT
Bold voices not only in Russia and Ukraine advocating for ceasefires have been silenced, but also in the West. Those speaking for peace, such as myself, are blacklisted from the mainstream media.
In fact, the West, too, is quick to brand anyone daring to mention peace as merely a puppet for Russian President Putin.
It's a grim picture, indeed. But where, then, are the courageous spiritual leaders, the ones willing to brave the storm, as I do with the Universal Church of Freedom, Peace and Justice, to fight for the preservation of Life on Earth?
The religion of Washington is war.
The politicians, many moving through the revolving doors of power, reap the benefits of their pro-war stance via campaign donations and lucrative consulting gigs. But what cost does this unending quest for power bring? At what point does their daily bread come at the expense of inviting Hell on Earth?
If you want Peace on Earth, please support us by making a generous tax-deductible donation to the Universal Church of Freedom Peace and Justice and/or Occupy Peace. The more support we have the more we can do. The world is waiting, so are we.
