Welcome to this week’s Trends Journal: "1796: ‘No Foreign Entanglements.' PRESIDENT'S DAY 2023: FU WASHINGTON"
President George Washington famously warned in his farewell address that the U.S. should avoid "foreign entanglements."
But President Joe Biden blatantly went against this advice yesterday and denigrated Washington’s warning on President's Day by going to Kyiv where he posed for photos with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Making a bad situation worse, he gave another $500 million weapons package to keep bloodying the killing fields.
The one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is days away, so the propaganda from the West needs to make up for Ukraine’s losses on the battlefield.
“Ukraine, Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia. Never,” Biden declared today.
Russia has said it will not stop its war until its goals are achieved. Today, Russian forces control some 20 percent of Ukraine and Ukrainians are living in deplorable conditions.
As we went to press, The Gateway Pundit published an interview with General Michael Flynn, the former adviser to President Donald Trump, who said Biden, while vice president, visited Ukraine 12 or 13 times during the Obama administration’s final year. Flynn called on Congress to investigate “every single one of those trips.”
Indeed, we have reported extensively over the years of Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s involvement with the Ukrainian oil and gas company, Burisma Holdings, which brought in about $11 million during his role as a board member.
On the Economic Front
The Dow Jones Industrial average was down some 700 points today and is now in negative territory for the year. This week's Trends Journal goes into great detail about what’s next to help our readers prepare, prevail and prosper in these challenging times.
We are at a very critical stage in human history. Most people are totally unaware of the dire consequences that lie ahead. I was honored to be a speaker at Sunday’s Peace Rally at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
United We Stand, Divided We Die.
I am doing all I can to help launch a major global peace movement to stop this madness, but I cannot do it alone.
