Nikki Haley is Wrong for Presidency, But Correct About Slavery, Civil War
Did Lincoln free the slaves like we were all taught in grade school? He did not.
GOP presidential hopeful Nikki Haley, who enriched herself in the military-industrial complex and has never seen a war she didn’t love, was forced to capitulate to the pressure from the media after stating — correctly — that slavery was not why the Civil War was fought.
Haley was asked about why the Civil War broke out during a town hall and said:
I think it always comes down to the role of government and what the rights of the people are. And we, I will always stand by the fact that I think government was intended to secure the rights and freedoms of the people. It was never meant to be all things to all people. Government doesn’t need to tell you how to live your life. They don’t need to tell you what you can and can’t do. They don’t need to be a part of your life. They need to make sure that you have freedom. We need to have capitalism. We need to have economic freedom. We need to make sure that we do all things so that individuals have the liberties so that they can have freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to do or be anything they want to be without government getting in the way.
She was quickly criticized in the media for not identifying slavery as the root cause of the war.
Judge Andrew Napolitano joined Gerald Celente on “Celente & the Judge” and defended Haley’s answer.
“The Civil War was not fought to eradicate slavery,” he said. “It was fought to preserve the union. Who said that? Abraham Lincoln. How many times did he say it? About a dozen times” during the war.
“Did Lincoln free the slaves like we were all taught in grade school? He did not. The 13th Amendment did… eight months after he was dead. Did the Emancipation Proclamation free the slaves? It did not. It was a military order telling the Army that they could seize slaves and draft them into the military. One form of slavery into another. And it expressly said, Lay off the slaves in the border states… the five border states that's 1/3 of the Confederacy, where it preserved slavery. Was Lincoln anti-slavery? He was not. He supported the Corwin Amendment. That was the original 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which passed Congress right before the war started and was never circulated to the States. But had it been ratified by the states, it would have enshrined slavery in the Constitution. And then, when the Civil War was over, Congress condemned slavery… So the same Congress that promoted slavery in 1861, condemned it in 1865. Why? Because the war was over and they wanted to rewrite history. Now does any of this have anything to do with whether or not she's [Haley] worthy to become president of the United States? Of course not. She is utterly unworthy to become president of the United States. Don't misread what I'm about to say… She's Lindsay Graham in high heels. She never met somebody else's blood she didn't want to spill. She never met a war she didn't want somebody else to fight. But her answer her original answer before she changed her mind with the avalanche of criticism on the war between the states was correct.
Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) have every right to say what they like about Israel and the genocide of Palestinians as elected members of the US House of Representatives; they never took an oath to serve Israel . . .
I voted for Ron Desantis (R-FL) to be governor of Florida, not ambassador to Israel.
The recently ousted Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Congressman Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who took at least a dozen votes to get elected speaker, traveled to Israel immediately upon his election, declaring to the Israeli Knesset that the USA is steadfastly committed to supporting Ukraine in their war against Russia . . .
Was he running for speaker of the Israeli Knesset too?
Following his ouster . . . McCarthy (R-CA) traveled abroad again, this time to England, and expressed his open contempt for the white Republicans who make up the majority of the GOP and praised Democrats for their diversity during a debate at Oxford in the wake of his ouster as House Speaker . . .
Is he now running for the Prime Minister of the U.K.?
Nevertheless, he is free to go on media tours bashing white people and lobbying for Israel, because he has now resigned from the US House of Representatives . . . I can only conclude that the collective RINO butthurt over former Speaker McCarthy is all about the Israelis who have hijacked the American deep state war machine.
It has become so painfully obvious, especially where you have someone like Nikki Haley wagging her finger and shouting down Vivek Ramaswamy in a presidential debate on live national television when the questions of this Ukrainian war against Russia and any mention of Israel are concerned, that the United States government has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Israeli Political Action Committee.

Thank you, Gerald, and thank you, Judge Napolitano!
