Putin Says G7 Leaders Who Mocked Him Would Look 'Disgusting' Without Shirts
G7 leaders mocked his bare-chested horseback photo
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday called out the G7 leaders who mocked the years-old photo that showed Putin riding bare-chested on horseback.
He said they would look “disgusting” if they tried to imitate the look.
“I don’t know how they wanted to get undressed, above or below the waist," he said, according to The Associated Press. "“But I think it would be a disgusting sight in any case.”
He then laid out what it takes to look good as you age: “stop abusing alcohol and other bad habits, do physical exercise and take part in sports.”
Putin did not mention Johnson by name, but his “abusing alcohol” swipe seems to be a swipe at Johnson’s boozy COVID-19 lockdown parties.

Leaders from G7 countries met in Bavaria last week and video emerged that showed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, President Joe Biden, and French President Emmanuel Macron laughing at British Prime Minister Boris Johnson mocking Putin's famous bare-chested horse riding photo.
“Jackets on? Jackets off? Shall we take our clothes off?” Johnson said.
"Let's wait for the picture," Trudeau responded.
"We have to show that we're tougher than Putin," Johnson, a little boy who couldn’t fight his way out of a paper bag, snarked.
"We're going to get the bare-chested horseback riding display," Trudeau said, while others at the table laughed.
The New York Times reported Thursday that it appears that Putin has regained his old swagger in an article titled, “Patient and Confident, Putin Shifts Out of Wartime Crisis Mode.”
Abbas Gallyamov, a former speechwriter for Putin, described the president’s perspective for the paper: “The initial shock has passed and things have turned out to be not all that bad.”

“He understands that his legitimacy is based on being strong and active, on acting and winning,” Gallyamov told the paper. “Paralysis and absence from public view are like death for him. So he has mastered himself and is now trying to do this.”
TRENDPOST: The mockery during such a serious meeting shows some kind of psychological disconnect from the realities of the war in Ukraine and the mentally ill people running and ruining our lives. Thousands are dying, there is a food crisis, and the world is inching toward a nuclear war, and the best these boys and girls can do is mock the only man who can bring this conflict to an end. The blind hatred that the West has for Putin and the ongoing “Hate Russia” Cold War mentality that persists is the reason why Ukraine is on fire and nobody was willing to put out the flames of war before they were ignited.
