Putin: We're Getting Warmed Up in Ukraine, Try and Stop Us
The world needs a peace movement
NOTE TO READERS: Occupy Peace is launching a Peace and Freedom Rally in Kingston, N.Y., on Saturday, July 23rd at 2 p.m. Our mission is to reverse the negative trends of ongoing wars, hatred and destruction... and bring Peace on Earth and Goodwill to All. A main purpose of this Rally is for We The People to demand that Washington and NATO stop sending billions of dollars of weaponry that keeps bloodying the killing fields of Ukraine, and instead negotiate a peace treaty.
The Trends Journal warned since the start of the Ukraine invasion that Kyiv is simply no match to the superior Russian forces. Two days before Russian tanks started to roll into Ukraine, our issue was titled: “From COVID War, to Ukraine War, to World War.”
The whores in the mainstream media pushed propaganda that Russia would somehow be defeated on the battlefield, and, although we have been completely opposed to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade, it was not unprovoked and NATO’s pointless expansion played a major role in Russia’s security concerns.

Gerald Celente noted from the beginning that Russia can easily roll over Ukraine and can even defeat NATO, which is why the Alliance never wanted Kyiv to be a full member.
Putin came out Thursday in what many said was his most aggressive speech to parliament yet, and said, “Largely speaking, we haven’t even yet started anything in earnest."
The Russian president blasted the Western support for Ukraine and said these countries are content with fighting Russia until “the last Ukrainian.” He said the U.S. cannot envision a unipolar world and wants to “enforce its version of the global order.”
“We are hearing that they want to defeat us on the battlefield. Let them try,” he said.

Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s spokesman, also took a shot at the resignation of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. He wrote in a statement: “We would like to hope that some day in Great Britain more professional people who can make decisions through dialogue will come to power.”

Al Jazeera reported that the Russian president said the prospects for any negotiation would grow dimmer the longer the conflict continued. “We have heard many times that the West wants to fight us to the last Ukrainian. This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people, but it seems that everything is heading towards this,” he said.

He said, “Everyone should know that, by and large, we haven’t started anything yet in earnest. At the same time, we don’t reject peace talks. But those who reject them should know that the further it goes, the harder it will be for them to negotiate with us.”
TRENDPOST: The issues between Russia and Ukraine are not black and white. As Pope Francis said, this war cannot be reduced to “good guys and bad guys.”
Our Peace and Freedom Rally will start at 2 p.m. on the Four Corners of Freedom, where the seeds of democracy were sown. John Street and Crown Street, Kingston, N.Y., is the only place in the United States where there are pre-Revolutionary War stone buildings on each corner.
The Rally will include an all-star lineup of guest speakers including Gerald Celente, the founder of Occupy Peace and the publisher of The Trends Journal; Judge Andrew Napolitano, the syndicated legal columnist; Scott Ritter, the former U.S. Marine Corps intelligence officer; and Gary Null, host of Progressive Radio Network.
In lifting up the spirit of peace, freedom, and joy, will have live entertainment including the Hot Damn Band.
