Nothing stirs hatred in the pro-war propaganda press like a peace rally calling for an end to the Ukraine War.
Rachel Maddow, the MSNBC host, did her best to mock the Rage Against the War Machine Rally in Washington, D.C., last weekend and suggested that it was “pro-Russian” and filled with a “weird assemblage” of people — including Proud Boys that you can “recognize” from other rallies.

The rally was organized by the Libertarian Party and the People’s Party, and some of the speakers included Gerald Celente, the publisher of The Trends Journal, Jimmy Dore, Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Tulsi Gabbard. The general theme was that the U.S. should stop the endless flow of weapons into Ukraine to keep the war going, and instead promote a peaceful resolution.
In true propagandist fashion, the editors at MSNBC used footage from before the rally to show a small crowd of people, Celente said. Maddow’s team also cut video showing the few Russian flags and, in her mocking voice, used that the rally as “pro-Russia, I guess, given all the Russian flags.”
Her remarks are not surprising because any talk of peace for Ukraine is met with a degree of anger in the mainstream media.
MSNBC’s key anchors have deep ties to the government including Zbigniew Brzezinski’s daughter Mika, who co-hosts a morning show. The network just hired Jen Psaki, President Biden’s former spokeswoman, to continue its revolving door with Democrats in Washington.
The Trends Journal reached out to Maddow to determine how much of the actual rally she watched. We have not heard back.
The demands laid out by Rage Against the War Machine include: No more war funding, negotiate for peace, stop the war inflation, disband NATO, slash the Pentagon budget, abolish the CIA and military-industrial deep state, restore civil liberties.
Celente took offense to Maddow’s comment and accused the network of using video from before the event even started to show a small crowd. Maddow also said there were Proud Boys in attendance that you would “recognize” from earlier rallies.
“You would recognize? You would recognize? Who the fuck do you recognize?” Celente said.
Celente said the crowd number was about 2,000 to 4,000, and it consisted of attendees of all ages, “kind, very nice, very easygoing. There was no violence, nothing.”
Maddow called the crowd an assemblage of misfits: “short straws, split ends, and loose change.”
“Fuck you,” Celente said. “You don’t call me that. You don’t call me that, Ms. Facia Brute. You’re selling war and hate….I am a warrior for peace. That you call me ‘weird,’ and all these other people, with your arrogant attitude. Go F yourself. Because, guess what? No one else would want to. You are nothing more than a war propagandist.
NOTE TO READERS: The Trends Journal is completely opposed to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but the reality is Russia will not be defeated by Ukraine and will accomplish its goals. Kyiv should have negotiated for a peaceful settlement to save hundreds of thousands of lives and hundreds of billion in infrastructure damage. The end result will be the same.
Keep doing your thing Mr. Celente. I promise you that more and more people are waking up to what these lying shills are really up to. Their plummeting ratings tell the real story. Peace and love from Chicago.
