Sean Penn, Zelensky Take Show on the Road During Golden Globes
Sean Penn presented Zelensky during Golden Globes
For the few people who tuned in, as predicted, the Golden Globes featured propaganda from talentless nepo-babies, and the customary virtue-signaling speech by nepo-baby Sean Penn, who plays a tough guy on TV.

Penn was tasked with introducing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who no doubt was disenfranchised that he had to settle for the second-tier Golden Globes to address the American public after getting rejected by the Academy Awards and the World Cup.
For those who don’t remember, we reported in November how Penn visited Zelensky in Ukraine and presented him with his Oscar. He told Zelensky that after he wins the war, he should bring the trophy back to Malibu. He said he feels much better knowing that there is a part of him in Ukraine.
Hollywood is further proving that it is a vacuous wasteland of actors desperate for attention because there are not enough Marvel movies to go around.
Ben Stiller, the clown from “Tropic Thunder,” met with Zelensky in June, and told reporters after the meeting that he told the president that he is his hero.
“As you quit a great acting career for this," Stiller said. "What you've done and the way that you've rallied the country, and you know, for the world, it's really inspiring.”
The “I am Sam” actor, who knows about as much about the Ukraine War as he does COVID-19 vaccines, did his best to sell the drama during Zelensky’s intro, and said, if “the freedom to dream were a spear, I proudly present a human being who tonight represents that spear’s most honed tip.”
ENTER: ZELENSKY. INT. NIGHT
The Ukrainian president, who was a comedian in Ukraine before achieving a celebrity he could only dream of while pretending to play the piano with his penis during one of his skits, appeared on video and, once again, assured the world that his country will emerge victorious.
“The war in Ukraine is not over yet, but the tide is turning and it is already clear who will win,” Zelensky said. “There are still battles and tears ahead.”
He continued, “There will be no Third World War. It is not a trilogy,” Zelenskyy insisted. “Ukraine will stop the Russian aggression on our land. We will make it together with a whole, free world. And I hope that all of you will be with us on the victorious day, the day of our victory. Slava Ukraini [Glory to Ukraine].”
The fact is, the world is already in a World War.
TRENDPOST: Two days before Russia launched its military campaign against Ukraine, as the 22 February Trends Journal cover illustrated, WWIII had begun.
President Joe Biden’s White House has been consistent with its public messaging: it will support Ukraine’s war effort as long as there are Ukrainians willing to fight, just don’t ask for U.S. or NATO troops to fight on Ukrainian soil.
However, there are U.S. personnel inside the country already. As we reported in The Trends Journal, the Pentagon has confirmed that U.S. troops are on the ground in Kyiv to conduct “on-site inspections to assess weapon stocks” and advise troops on how to use the weapons the U.S. sent to Ukraine.
An unknown number of CIA officers and special forces troops from the West are also there, according to reports.
Washington has tried to find workarounds in its support of Ukraine by providing intelligence, weapons training, firepower, and billions to keep Kyiv functioning.
Just weeks after the war broke out, Lloyd Austin, the defense secretary, said it was Washington’s hope that Russia emerges “weaker” from the conflict. Biden also called for regime change inside the Kremlin, which was quickly walked back by his aides.
The Kremlin has said Washington is perfectly content with using Ukrainians as cannon-fodder to achieve its goals.
Moscow has warned Western countries that they will not be able to provide Ukraine with weapons to destroy Russian troops while sitting the conflict out. Russia has said it is willing to negotiate for peace, but will not consider ceding any territory it gained.
The West’s position has been that Russia has failed in its objectives since the beginning of the war—despite Moscow now controlling 20 percent of the country and an estimated 70 percent of Ukraine’s electric/water and other key infrastructure having been destroyed.
David Petraeus, the retired U.S. general, said in a recent interview that Russian President Vladimir Putin has tried everything “that would be domestically palatable,” but “it’s not going well.”
Col. (ret.) Douglas MacGregor said Petraeus seems to be “divorced from reality.”
He said it seems Petraeus is “sort of punching his ticket as a member of the in-club with the status quo. And that’s the status quo that’s ruling us in Washington.”
The Kremlin has blamed the West for taking an active role in military operations.
Penn + Zelenskyy = Two morons
“Apple roared into the TV game with The Morning Show, a super drama about the importance of dignity and doing the right thing, made by a company that runs sweatshops in China. You say you’re woke, but the companies you work for, it’s unbelievable—Apple, Amazon, Disney. If ISIS started a streaming service, you’d call your agent.” — Ricky Gervais
