Sen. Graham Can't Stay Away from Ukraine to Promote More War
Lindsey Graham said "Putin owns Biden" because the U.S. president was opposed to the idea of providing Ukraine fighter jets earlier in the war.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., one of the biggest war hawks in Congress who has called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be assassinated at least twice, has visited Ukraine three times since the invasion and his latest trip drew increased Russian ire.
An edited video emerged that appeared to show the senator meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and pointing out that Russians are dying in the war.
“It’s the best money we’ve ever spent,” Graham said, according to a widely circulated video.
Kyiv released what it said were the full remarks from the senator who said Ukrainian resistance reminded him of “our better selves in America,” The Daily Beast reported.
“There was a time in America that we were this way, fighting to the last person, we were going to be free or die,” he said.
The paper noted that the senator told Reuters that it has been a “good investment by the United States to help liberate Ukraine from Russian war criminals.”
TRENDPOST: Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian Security Council deputy chairman, said Graham is an old fool and threatened him.
