Sen. Tom Cotton Tries to Defend Israel from Genocide Allegations
Cotton has reportedly refered to Arabs as "goat herders"
Sen. Tom Cotton, the neocon from Arkansas, tried to defend Israel’s genocide and starvation campaign in Gaza by trying to put CIA head William J. Burns in the hot seat about the Washington-supported genocide in Gaza.
Cotton asked the Biden official if he believed Israel’s was carrying out a genocide in Gaza.
Cotton is known to repeatedly refer to Arabs as “goat herders.”
Mediaite quoted him asking Burns: “Is Israel exterminating the Palestinian people?”
(Cotton knew a Biden administration official would never accuse Israel of genocide, but it was a show, like when the senator embarrassed himself during his questioning of the head of TikTok.)
“Senator, all I can say is, you know what I said before, I think there are a lot of innocent civilians in Gaza who are, in desperate conditions right now,” Burns said.
TRENDPOST: Of course, Burns would never say Israel is committing genocide. But Cotton got his question in and will be on Fox News to talk about how unfair criticism of Israel is.
Fox News, like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, play to the Evangelicals in the U.S., who support Netanyahu more than even Israelis. (Fox News is home to an anchor who said there are “little jihadis” running around the U.S., and Mark Levin who said there are no innocent Palestinians blowing up in Gaza.
Mike Johnson wasted no time last week to let the American public know that his first measure of business was to “support” Israel.
Haaretz published an illuminating report that offered a glimpse into Johnson’s decision to list Israel as his top agenda item as speaker in an article titled, “New House Speaker Mike Johnson, an Evangelical Christian, Holds Ties to Israel’s Far Right.”
The paper wrote that his selection was “the most significant victory to date for evangelical Christians’ pro-Israel movement.”
The paper noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu relies on Evangelical support in the U.S. as his own government moves to the right and was losing some support from American Jews. The 7 October attack by Hamas only moved the “pro-Israel Evangelical” even more “vocally pro-Israel.”
The report pointed to a trip that Johnson took to Israel in 2020 with a group whose CEO is a “social media activist named Avi Abelow, who emigrated from New York more than 30 years ago at age 18 and lives in the West Bank settlement of Efrat.”
During his trip, he visited Jerusalem’s Temple Mount and called it a “fulfillment of biblical prophecy.”
Ben Samuels, the author of the Haaretz article, posted on X: “House Speaker Mike Johnson holds ties to Israel's far right — traveling on a private visit organized by a top settler, meeting with the group behind Israel's judicial overhaul and touring the Temple Mount with an activist against maintaining the status quo.”
He is just another Zionist
Can't people see their own hand in front of their face? Then they have no excuse for not seeing that the tail is wagging the dog and slamming said dog's face into the wall of guilty war, aiding and abetting genocides, aiding and abetting child trafficking and illegal organ harvesting, committing treason against itself and its own people, and surrendering to a communist-style subversion campaign that includes using invading persons as elements of subversion and as camouflage for same. You ZOG-blind fools out there are guilty of all this and more, and will not get away with any of it.
