Trump-backed Randy Fine gets key Florida endorsement after calling on Israel to 'starve away' in Gaza
The Trump administration has fully supported the starvation campaign
Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., who has an interesting taste in his office’s interior design, came out to endorse pro-genocide Rep. Randy Fine, R-Fla., who just earlier posted that Israel should “starve away” in Gaza — a clear endorsement of a war crime.
One X user posted an image of Scott standing in front of the Israeli flag and wrote: “You both work for a foreign government.”
Fine is a favorite of “MAGA” politicians and won the special election to replace failed national security adviser Mike Waltz by roughly 14 points.
Fine was backed by U.S. President Donald Trump after posting grotesque messages on X — celebrating the massacre of Gazans by the U.S.-backed IDF, which fits in well with the Trump White House.
The Electronic Intifada noted why Fine likely appealed to the same voters who backed Waltz and Trump. Fine responded to the IDF targeted killing of 26-year-old American citizen Ayşenur Eygi in the West Bank last year and posted: “Throw rocks, get shot. One less Muslim Terrorist. Fire Away.”
The American Jewish Committee came out against Fine’s post calling on the continued Trump-backed starvation campaign inside Gaza.
“The serious humanitarian situation in Gaza must not be taken lightly, especially by those at the highest levels of government. Implying that starvation is a legitimate tactic is unacceptable,” the group posted.
Ron Paul, the former presidential candidate, posted: “Just when you thought Congress could sink no lower, in comes Randy Fine (R-FL), who has multiple times mocked the suffering in Gaza and who yesterday said Palestinian children should "starve away" until the Israeli hostages are released. Polls continue to show that Americans are repulsed by what is happening to Palestinians in Gaza, yet somehow they continue to elect representatives like Randy Fine. What gives?”
This is what we voted for? Pathetic…
