U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters on Friday that he would bomb Iran again if it were determined that Tehran was enriching uranium again at levels that concerned his administration.

“Sure, without question, absolutely,” he said.

His comments came after Israel indicated that it was also open to new attacks on Iran.

The U.S. Senate, which is owned by the Israel lobby in Washington, failed to pass a war powers resolution that would have forced the president to go to Congress before bombing Iran again.

The Senate vote was 53 to 47, with Zionist Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., voting with Republicans. (Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., voted with Democrats.)

Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., said in a floor speech before the vote: “What would we have said if Iran or any other country had flown bombers over our country and struck our facilities? We would rightly call it what it was: an act of war,” according to The New York Times.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, said Tehran delivered a “heavy slap to the U.S.’s face,” and said Washington achieved nothing in the bombing.
