Trump May Reverse Biden's 'Stupid' Decision on Long-Rage Strikes for Ukraine
President-elect says he did not think the decision should have been allowed, “certainly not just weeks before I take over”
President-elect Donald Trump told reporters Monday that his predecessor Joe Biden made a stupid decision when he approved long-range missile strikes for Ukraine and he could very well end up reversing the decision once he takes office in January.
Trump said he did not think the decision should have been allowed, “certainly not just weeks before I take over.”
“Why would they do that without asking me what I thought? I wouldn’t have had them do that. I think that was a big mistake they made,” Trump said, according to Russia’s Meduz.io.
He told reporters that he might reverse the decision once in office.
Last month, Biden gave Kyiv the green light to use Washington-provided long-range missiles to hit targets deep inside Russia—citing the bullshit claim that North Koreans are fighting with the Russians.

The move was seen as a significant escalation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in September: “It is not a question of allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It is about deciding whether NATO countries become directly involved in the military conflict or not.”
The Russian military responded to Ukraine’s use of these weapons in battle by launching its new hypersonic Oreshnik missiles.
Putin told the conference Monday that the West is pushing Moscow to its “red lines,” and it is up to Russia to be prepared and respond accordingly.
“They (Western leaders) are simply scaring their own population that we are going to attack someone there using the pretext of the mythical Russian threat,” he said, according to Reuters. “The tactic is very simple: they push us to ‘a red line,’ from which we cannot retreat, we start to respond and then they immediately scare their population.”
Meduza reported that Trump was asked about what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should expect during his administration, and the incoming president responded:
“He should be prepared to make a deal, that’s all. Too many people being killed. Gotta make a deal. And Putin has to make a deal, too.”
