Israel Katz, the Israeli foreign minister, warned Erdogan that he could end up like Sadam Hussein in a post on X.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president, said Sunday that his armed forces may invade Israel on behalf of the Palestinians being butchered by the Israeli military in Gaza.

NEW ISSUE OUT ON TUESDAY WITH IN-DEPTH COVERAGE OF THE EXPANDING WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST

“We must be very strong so that Israel can't do these ridiculous things to Palestine. Just like we entered Karabakh, just like we entered Libya, we might do similar to them,” Erdogan said, according to Voice of America.

Israel Katz, the Israeli foreign minister, posted an image on X showing Erdogan and Sadam Hussein, and posted, “Erdogan is following Sadam Hussein's path and threatens to attack Israel. He needs to remember what happened there and how it ended.”
