U.S., Germany Want Zelensky to Negotiate, Won't Say So Publicly: German report
The Trends Journal has said since the beginning of the war that Ukraine could not defeat the Russian Army and its counteroffensive would fail
U.S. President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz know that Ukraine will not regain territory under Russian control and are secretly trying to get Kyiv to negotiate to end the bloody stalemate, according to a German report.
Bild, the German newspaper, reported that both Washington and Berlin are heavily invested in the war and have been Kyiv’s largest weapons providers. The U.S. and Germany have decided to force the government in Kyiv into talks with Putin's regime by restricting the quality and quantity of their arms deliveries, The New Voice of Ukraine reported, citing the paper.

“Zelenskyy should come to the realization that things cannot go on like this,” a German government insider told the paper, according to the report. “He should address his nation of his own free will and explain that negotiations need to be carried out.”
Zelensky continues to be a Western media darling and met with Lachlan Murdoch, the head of Fox News and The Sun. Zelensky tried to make light of how he survived “five or six” assassination attempts and how he would kill Russian President Vladimir Putin if he had the chance.
RT, the Russian news outlet, citing the report’s sources, said, “Washington and Berlin are rationing weapons deliveries in the hope that Kiev will realize it cannot recapture lost territory.”

The U.S. State Department said in an email to The Trends Journal that “no one wants this war to end more than Ukraine and its people, but any decisions about negotiations are up to President Zelensky. We aren’t going to pressure him to negotiate against his will. “
Any initiative for a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine must be based on full respect for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, within its internationally recognized borders and consistent with the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter.
The other key part of this is obviously Russia. Russia is the sole obstacle to peace in Ukraine. The Kremlin has yet to demonstrate any meaningful interest in ending its war; quite the opposite.
Zelensky has recently said deliveries of the munitions have “really slowed down.”
U.S. output of 155 mm shells in 2025 “is likely to be lower than that of Russia in 2024,” The Economist reported.
Recent comments from Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny did not sit well with some top Ukrainian officials about the country’s war prospects.
“There will most likely be no deep and beautiful breakthrough,” he said.
The Russian army may have constructed the greatest fortification in military history. Ukrainian troops face anti-tank ditches, “dragon’s teeth” and anti-vehicle barricades, Business Insider reported. Once they get through the minefields, they are greeted by trench labyrinths and then Moscow’s layered defensive lines.
Putin told a conference last week that Russia is not interested in seizing new territory in Ukraine and wants the conflict to come to a swift end.
“As time goes on, there will be trade-offs as certain key systems are diverted to Israel,” Mark Cancian, a senior adviser at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, told RT. “A few systems that Ukraine needs for its counteroffensive may not be available in the numbers that Ukraine would like.”
TRENDPOST: The Trends Journal noted since the start of the war that Ukraine’s military is no match for the much larger Russian army, and it would save the most lives if Kyiv decided to ignore the warmongers in Washington and London and negotiate for a settlement and promise neutrality. We were completely ignored in the mainstream that sold the lie that Ukraine was winning.
