U.S. Vows $3B More in Military Aid to Ukraine, Zelensky Says, Again, He Wants Crimea
No talk of peace, just more war
Key Points: The U.S. is planning for a war in Ukraine that will last years. So in an effort to show Kyiv that it will have continued support from Washington — by far its biggest weapons dealer — the Biden administration told The Associated Press it will send $3 billion in aid to “train and equip Ukrainian forces to fight for years to come.”
AntiWar.com said the aid will be the single largest weapons package that the U.S. will be providing Ukraine, and bring the total to about $13.6 billion since the war started.

Military-Industrial-Complex VERRRY Happy: The package is expected to fall under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which draws weapons and equipment from private industry rather than the Presidential Drawdown Authority, which draws from the U.S. stockpile, NBC News reported.
What We’ve Said: The mainstream media never mentions the close ties that most of the major players in the Biden White House have with weapon manufacturers. (We list some here, like how Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin made a fortune on Raytheon’s board, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken also cashed in on his government contacts.)
TRENDPOST: Anything less than pure hatred for Russian President Vladimir Putin borders on treason in the U.S. media.
The country has been brainwashed since the start of the conflict that Putin is a modern-day Hitler.
The only person standing in his way is Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the “Churchill of our time.”
Putin correctly said earlier in the conflict that Western leaders, who are fueled by their hatred for Russia, would be quite content to fight Moscow until “the last Ukrainian.” Putin said the U.S. cannot imagine a unipolar world and wants to “enforce its version of the global order.”
Crimea
Key Point: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday, once again, that he intends on reclaiming Crimea from Russia.
“I know that Crimea is with Ukraine, is waiting for us to return. I want all of you to know that we will return. We need to win the fight against Russian aggression. Therefore, we need to free Crimea from occupation. It began with Crimea, it will end with Crimea.”
History: Russia did not attack Crimea in 2014. The Russian military already had a presence there. Under a lease agreement (which did not expire until 2047), negotiated when Russia granted independence to Ukraine, its Black Sea Fleet is based at Sevastopol port in Crimea.
Furthermore, Crimea would likely still be a part of Ukraine if the U.S. had not orchestrated a coup to overthrow the government of the democratically elected president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych. (See “WASHINGTON IS DRIVING THE WORLD TO THE FINAL WAR,” 28 Apr 2014).
It was Crimean’s who voted overwhelmingly—by 95 percent—to rejoin Russia, but it is internationally recognized as Ukrainian territory. The Kremlin sees Crimea as theirs.
Crimea had been part of Ukraine only since 1954, when Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, a Ukrainian, designated it as such. In fact, Crimea has been part of Russia longer than the United States has been a country.
U.S. Excited About More War for Crimea: A senior Biden administration official said the U.S. supports strikes on Crimea, according to a report. Politico reported that the official said the U.S. does not help select targets and “everything we’ve provided is for self-defense purposes.” But he concluded, “Crimea is Ukraine.”
Zelensky’s latest remarks on Crimea are in stark contrast to what he said at the beginning of the war. He said earlier that Ukraine could accept a peace deal if Russian forces returned to their pre-invasion positions.
Emboldened by the U.S.’s support, not because of a love of Ukraine, but because a hatred of Russia, Zelensky said Tuesday, “In 2014, [Russia] decided to occupy our country, but the world didn’t give them a proper wallop. So they went on doing what they were doing. And again. And again... But now we’re giving them a wallop."
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the 'Churchill of our time' ”, but with about a zillion times the money. I doubt if much of that came from his stupid TV show.
I realised yesterday that there has been no UN sanctions like with the Iraq war, against Russia. This is surely because as Putin yesterday said there is no crime being committed. There is no war only a special military operation, defending ethnic russians. This is why the only thing the west can do is donate weapons! Russia is being goaded but won't take the bait. It wont even stop the gas in order to keep the moral high ground. "HE WHO CAST THE FIRST STONE".
