WWIII: U.S. Supports Plan to Provide Ukraine With F-16s

The Ukrainian air force is generally comprised of Soviet-era Russian fighters

President Joe Biden told G7 leaders last week during a summit in Hiroshima, Japan, that he will support plans to get Ukraine F-16 fighter jets, and will begin training Ukrainian pilots on fourth-generation aircraft in an effort to expel Russian forces from the country. 

The training is expected to take place in Europe and is expected to take place over the coming months.

American pilots will help train the Ukrainians.
