Zelensky Tries to Go Nuclear: Ukrainian Drone Strikes Russian-Controlled Nuke Site
Kyiv is trying to show the world that -- even though it can't defeat Russia on the battlefield -- it can cause great harm.
Ukraine was Criticized by the International Atomic Energy Agency after carrying out a drone attack on the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant – striking a dome on top of a reactor that has been shut down.
Rafael Mariano Grossi, the IAEA director general, said in a statement that such a “detonation is consistent with IAEA observations.”

“I urge to refrain from actions that … jeopardize nuclear safety,” he said.
The power plant is the largest nuclear facility in Europe.
Grossi has been an outspoken critic of the fighting that has been occurring near the facility and has warned that “something very, very catastrophic could take place” if there is not some kind of “security protection zone.”
The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is in Zaporizhzhya, a city on the Dnieper River in southeastern Ukraine.
In July, Kyrylo Budanov, Ukraine’s military intelligence chief, bullshitted that Moscow has plans in place to sabotage Europe’s largest nuclear power plant.
Ukraine’s counteroffensive has been a failure and we’ve noted that Kyiv will either blame the West for not giving its troops enough weapons to succeed, or it will have to blame Russia for an attack so catastrophic that the West could not avoid upping the ante.
Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian President and now deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, said the West and Ukrainian officials are actively seeking another Chernobyl-like disaster in Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already set up how the West will blame Ukraine for a disaster, even if it is caused by a drone from Kyiv.
“How long will it take the global community to respond to Russia's irresponsible actions and nuclear blackmailing?” he tweeted last year.
TREND FORECAST: The Trends Journal has long forecast that as the Ukraine War fades from the mainstream news and as Kyiv keeps losing to Russia, Ukraine will ramp up the war with an attack on a nuclear power plant, an attack on a major Russian city, a major false flag attack.
Ukraine has increased its attacks on targets inside Russia ever since its counteroffensive late last year failed to yield any gains and Western support seems to be slowing. Again, as we had forecast, watch for Ukraine to continue to strike these oil refineries and Russia’s energy sector to draw a more serious response from Moscow that will allow warmongers to accuse the Kremlin of becoming more bloodthirsty in hopes of galvanizing military and financial support.
Again, as we had forecast, the greater Ukraine and Israel wars escalate, the higher oil prices will rise, with the sure probability that Brent crude will hit $130 per barrel… which will in turn crash equity markets and the global economy.
Zelensky lost his celebrity status when word got out that he reneged on his agreement to the Minsk Accords which would have ended the war. But it doesn’t make any difference what he says. Zelensky is not the master of his fate. Russia views any attack by Ukraine on this nuclear facility or Crimea, or oil refinery, or Russian naval vessels in the Black Sea Fleet, as an assault on Russia orchestrated by UK/US/NATO.
But the rules of engagement are about to change after the murderous terror attack attack on Krocus. Russia will respond accordingly
Are you stupid?
Zelensky and Putin are two hands on the same meat grinder, and both are controlled by Chabad and Friends. Can't figure that much out by now?
