Zelensky, Ukraine's Illegitimate President, Rejects Putin's Peace Offer
The two key sticking points for Russia are that it keeps the five regions it now controls in the east, and Kyiv provides assurances that it will not join NATO
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, once again, laid out his concrete steps for peace in Ukraine, which the illegitimate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky quickly rejected.
The two key sticking points for Russia are that it keeps the five regions it now controls in the east, and Kyiv provides assurances that it will not join NATO, which Russia has long warned is a red line.
“Our side will order a ceasefire and start negotiations the minute Kyiv declares that it is prepared to take this decision and starts the actual withdrawal of troops from those regions, and also formally informs us that it no longer plans to join NATO,” Putin said, according to RT.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, like a good little U.S. puppet who banned elections to stay in power, rejected the offer.
“What can I say? These messages are ultimatum messages, they are nothing different than other ultimatums that he has made before,” he said.
U.S. President Joe Biden and Zelensky signed a 10-year “security pact” yesterday as G7 leaders announced that they will lend Kyiv $50 billion in 2024 – or interest payments from Russian assets in European and U.S. banks.
TRENDPOST: Any talk of peace in Ukraine is banned because the West wants to weaken Putin and keep him from the trillions in natural resources inside Ukraine.
In May 2022, Henry Kissinger, the warmongering former U.S. secretary of state, who has since died, told an audience at Davos that Ukraine should be willing to cede territory to further the peace process.
Kissinger saw some success during his time as the U.S.’s top diplomat with the Soviet Union and played a role in arms control treaties like the Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty and the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty.
He told the audience in Davos that it would be “fatal” for Western countries to disregard Russia's position of power within Europe.
“I hope the Ukrainians will match the heroism they have shown with wisdom,” Kissinger said.
Kissinger’s comments follow nonagenarian Noam Chomsky’s earlier statements about the dangers of a prolonged conflict in Ukraine. Chomsky, correctly, stated earlier this month that Ukrainian leadership’s cry for more heavy weapons is actually the Western “propaganda system.”
Kyiv goes haywire whenever someone in the West even mentions peace, so Kissinger was accused of being stuck in the “deep past.”
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Zelensky, was critical of Kissinger’s remarks and said he would as easily “allow to take Poland or Lithuania away.”
Zelensky was on message after Putin’s peace offering and – to play for his Western backers – said Putin “will not stop.”
Leave it to the illegitimate president and his foolish NATO advisors to think they can negotiate from a position of utter and hopeless weakness. I’d laugh if it wasn’t so profoundly sad.
It's ironic that Kissinger -- the decades-long point man for The City -- would have been clamoring for peace in 2022.
I understand the US' motivation for Ukraine: the DoD, Control and dozens of DC's entrenched have mountains of treason they want to bury there. Why the EU and UK would want to hop in the backseat of Biden & Mileikowsky's Thelma-and-Louise-mobile -- and carry their countries along for the ride over the cliff -- is a much more enshrouded mystery.
