Biden, 'Pathetic' After New $1B Injection for Israel Amid Rafah Offensive: SACHS
Biden and his administration is complicit in Israel's genocide in Gaza, professor says
Jeffery Sachs, the Columbia economist, called U.S. President Joe Biden and his entire administration “pathetic” after it announced another $1 billion in weapons for Israel as a carries out its barbaric genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
He told Judge Andrew Napolitano’s podcast “Judging Freedom” that the U.S. is Israel’s only obstacle in its genocide – “literally, it’s the U.S. veto that stops it.”
“Biden is pathetic,” he said. “I’m sorry to say… he just approved, in the midst of Israel’s Rafa offensive, which has, again, displaced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians running for their lives right now and against what was supposed to be a U.S. red line.”
RITTER: MURDEROUS ISRAEL HAS BEEN EXPOSED
He said the Biden administration just gave Israel another “$1 billion in munitions support for Israel to continue doing what it wants.”
He said the White House “either doesn’t understand the power of the presidency, or it lets Israel dictate the policy however you want to look at it.”
The Wall Street Journal reported that the Biden administration notified Congress on Tuesday that it will move forward “with more than $1 billion in new weapons deals for Israel, U.S. and congressional officials said, a massive arms package less than a week after the White House paused a shipment of bombs over a planned Israel assault on Rafah.”
The Biden administration has been trying to push another $1 billion in weapons for Israel—outside the $26 billion approved this week in the U.S. House of Representatives—that would include the transfers of 120 mm tank ammunition, $500 million in tactical vehicles, and less than $100 million in 120 mm mortar rounds, the paper reported last month.
TRENDPOST: As this week’s cover of The Trends Journal illustrates, Biden is not “The Boss,” Netanyahu is. Yesterday, the White House National Security mouthpiece John Kirby told reporters that “The president doesn’t want to see operations in Rafah that put at greater risk the more than a million people that are seeking refuge there.”
Despite the president’s public plea, despite his sending tens of billions of dollars of bombs and weapons to Israel, Netanyahu defied Biden and has attacked Rafah, bombing what the Presstitute media calls “targets.”
