DOUGLAS MACGREGOR: U.S. More Isolated Than Ever in its Support of Israel
Military expert says no one trust us; no one believes us; and everyone wants to do business in spite of us
Douglas Macgregor, Col. (ret.) a senior fellow with The American Conservative, said in an interview on Tuesday that the U.S. is watching its influence in the Middle East evaporate and is becoming more isolated in its support of the Israeli genocide in Gaza by the day.

MacGregor noted how Ireland, Norway, and Spain have recognized Palestine as an independent state. Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris told lawmakers in Ireland’s parliament that he hoped the decision sends the Palestinian people a message of hope that — “in this their darkest hour — Ireland stands with them,” the Associated Press reported.
He also noted that France and Germany both said they would arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if the International Criminal Court issues such warrants.
“This is not just about Israel,” MacGregor told Judge Andrew Napolitano’s “Judging Freedom” podcast. “This is a signal to the United States: ‘We’re prepared to move on without you.’”
In the Middle East, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Riyadh condemned “the continuous genocidal massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people without deterrence by continuing to target the tents of defenseless Palestinian refugees in Rafah.”

India and Iran also on Monday signed a 10-year contract for the operation of a terminal at the strategically important Chabahar port in Iran, much to the chagrin of the U.S., NDTV reported.
MacGregor told Napolitano that the Saudi are considering investing in the port project, “which is nothing short of a monumental strategic game changer in the region.”
He continued, “What’s really dying in the Middle East at the moment is any semblance of our strategic power and influence. We are now entirely isolated with Israel — in the same rowboat with Israel — in this ocean of hostility and hatred. No one trust us; no one believes us; and everyone wants to do business in spite of us.”
Well, perhaps it is for the best that the USA hegemony comes to an end?
These so called ruling class creatures have been ruining our country and the world with their greed. Even if they don't get the world war that they seem to want, we will be paying the deficit and coping with the bricks currency for decades. We the people getting screwed again.
