Former Netanyahu Aide Hints Israeli Involvement in Pager Blasts in Now-Deleted Post
Israel's terror attack praised in the U.S. as 'brilliant'
A former top aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu deleted a post on X Tuesday after indicating that Israel was behind the widespread pager attack in Lebanon that killed at least eight and injured thousands.
The Jerusalem Post reported that Topaz Luk, the former aid, posted the message in response to another former official’s post that it was unlikely that Netanyahu would escalate the conflict before he addresses the UN in New York later this month.
“[The argument] did not age well,” he quipped on X.
The Israelis tried to distance themselves from the post and said Luk is not part of the inner circle, the report said.
Hezbollah blamed Israel for the attack. The New York Times reported that “amateur footage broadcast on Lebanese television showed chaotic scenes at hospitals, as wounded patients with mangled hands and burn injuries sought treatment.”
The attack was met with mockery in the U.S.
Mark Dubowitz, the CEO of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, posted on X: “Israel is restoring its deterrence brick by brick, operation by operation. The message: We’ve deeply penetrated your systems and networks. We can kill any of you at any time — and will if you continue your war against us. And that’s a message to both Nasrallah, Khamenei et al.”
The FDD is a “think tank” founded to “enhance Israel’s image in North America” and “has been accused of attacking activists, journalists, and academics whose views do not align with its hawkish Middle East politics,” according to Responsible Statecraft.
Jonathan Conricus, a senior fellow at the FDD, posted: “How ironic is it that a primitive comms device distributed by Hezbollah to its key personnel in order to avoid eavesdropping by Israel has been used as a lethal weapon in the world’s most elaborate cyber attack. Brilliant.”
TRENDPOST: Israel has no interest in a peaceful resolution in the region and is working to drag the U.S. into war with Hezbollah — with hopes that it will spread to Iran. The U.S. is unserious when it says it wants to deescalate because it could force Israel to the negotiating table today if it cut off the weapon shipments. Indeed, the person who is negotiating to end the conflict on behalf of the U.S. is Amos Hochstein, who was born in Israel and served in the IDF.
Since they all went off at once, it very likely had to be an explosive contained in the pager. Which means that they penetrated their supply chain many months ago and have the ability to remotely detonate them. This is going to delay any offensive action by Hezbollah, implying Israel has bought time to begin an operation before they get resistance. We will see.
Imagine what other supply chains they've already found ways to compromise, directly and indirectly! Then again, a cursory view of our money supplies, our industrial toxin dumping practices, our poisoned food and water supplies, our endlessly chemtrailed skies, our weaponized pseudomedicine, and a good many other forms of sabotage should have been evidence that "someone" has been ruining us. Now look at the state of our countries in the West after "winning" WWII. RUINED! INVADED! SABOTAGED! CORRUPTED! Ruined.
