Iran Will Wipe Out 'Israeli Regime' if Attacked Again: Raisi
Raisi said Tehran will continue its support for the “Palestinian resistance” and called the U.S. and its allies the “the greatest violators of human rights” by fully supporting Israel’s genocide
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said Tuesday that Iran’s military would wipe out the Israeli regime if his country is attacked again.
“If the Zionist regime once again makes a mistake and attacks the sacred land of Iran, the situation will be different, and it is not clear whether anything will remain of this regime,” he said during a visit to Pakistan to bolster trade between countries, according to IRNA.
Raisi said Tehran will continue its support for the “Palestinian resistance” and called the U.S. and its allies the “the greatest violators of human rights” by fully supporting Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
In the meantime, Hezbollah, which is backed by Tehran, announced that it launched a retaliatory drone strike into Israel in response to Israel killing one of its commanders. Al Jazeera reported that it was the deepest attack from the group “into Israeli territory since the Gaza war began.”
The attack targeted two Israeli bases between Acre and Nahariyya. Hezbollah employed “decoy and explosive drones.”
Iran showed sophisticated military capabilities during its attack on Israel Saturday and Will likely make good on its promise to strike Israel hard if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu carries out a significant retaliatory strike, Larry Johnson, the former analyst, told “Geopolitical Trends, w/Dr. David Oualaalou.”
“If Israel ups the ante, and does a significant attack on Iran, in Iranian territory, then Iran will make good on its threat, promise, call it what you will, and only this time I think there will be significant damage throughout Israel,” he said.
“It won't be confined to just military facilities. I think they go after government buildings; I think they'll go after economic targets; I think they'll go after intelligence targets. They're not going to just kill civilians to kill civilians, but there will be collateral damage and civilians will die,” he continued.
