Retired Col. Douglas MacGregor, the military analyst and CEO of OurCountryOurChoice.com, expressed skepticism on X about how Israel — with all of its surveillance capacity in Gaza — could have possibly been caught by surprise by the Hamas attack on 7 October 2023.

“I am still extremely skeptical that October 7th happened without the Israeli's [sic] knowing about it and reacting to it,” he posted on Saturday. “They are way to [sic] confident and had that place under excellent surveillance. October 7th was the predicate for what we are seeing today!”

The Trends Journal reported extensively on how evidence suggests that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knew the Hamas attack was coming, because as Gerald Celente has said, “When all else fails, they take you to war,” and as the facts show, Netanyahu was failing.

There is no smoking gun, but Netanyahu was informed by his military and intelligence team that Israel was vulnerable to an enemy attack because of domestic social upheaval tied to his Knesset’s judicial overhaul plan that divided the country, a report in 2023 said.
