Really? What purpose would that serve? It would not only destroy another people it would affect your own country in a negative way. Besides, after destroying another country it would need to be rebuilt in such a way to make it functional again. And that would cost --- a LOT. But then, most politicians never think that far ahead. Their main concern is staying in office and holding on to power.
