I have a different take on Assange. There is plenty of evidence that he was being used to manage information to create a narrative, mostly beneficial to Israel. He claimed the 9/11 official version was 100% correct and not worth his time. He never presented anything that wasn't already available to find out- even if a bit obscure. And the information was mostly to discredit Arab states and the US.
